Linking Brownfields Redevelopment and Greenfields Protection for Sustainable Development (2001) was prepared as part of a collaborative project called Bridges that involved more than two years of research on behalf of Great Lakes Commission staff in partnership with the National Wildlife Federation-Great Lakes Natural Resource Center and the Council of Great Lakes Industries. Strategic actions presented in the report aim to promote sustainable development through urban revitalization and the preservation of the rural areas and open spaces. An Executive Summary is also available.
